The leftovers: a usage total and five one-liners

Split from #10, which closed once everything else in it was built or had a discussion of its own (the beat layer is #45, operator break kinds #24, the embedding axis #14, the constant mixer knobs #20).

What is left has no other home. Each was checked against main at 92bd1ae.

• An aggregate usage surface. script_history carries usage jsonb and duration_ms per write attempt, and /scripts and the traces tab show them one at a time. Nothing adds them up: what the model cost this week, which binding spends it, how long the speech engine takes per break and how often it fails over. The speech side records no equivalent at all. This is what makes The station's judgement #37 §2's budget arguable rather than theoretical.
• Library selection. The sync walks every readable playlist and the library server always appends "Everything", so the whole server is ingested unconditionally and an audiobook shelf cannot be excluded. A multiselect over the server's folders. plugins/navidrome has no folder handling today.
• A robot filter on the MOUNT. The agent refusal for an audience-gated station exists for HLS only. One nginx map on the user agent, fed from the same setting, would cover the mount. Nothing in docker/nginx.conf does this yet.
• A re-measure-many. One record can be forgotten and a schema bump re-queues everything, with nothing in between, though analyzer_plugin_id is stored for exactly that. (Filtering by it is also on A record's state, in one place, and a way to clear it #48's list.)
• Units in saySymbols. Built in PR Say weather units aloud; retry a failed analysis fetch after an hour #546: °C, °F, km/h, kph and mph after a figure are said as words (apps/api/src/modules/render/speech.transpose.ts).

The sixth one-liner from that list, a script language, has since been built (docs/internals/breaks.md § The station's language).

Status, 2026-10-23. The re-measure-many is built (#765). The tracks list filters by Measured by (analyzer_plugin_id) and by kind of failed measurement, and Measure these again clears the measurement of every record on the filtered page.

Still open:

• From the usage total: a cost in money and speech-engine time and failover (model tokens and call time already reach Trends through the metrics recorder).
• Library folder selection for Navidrome.
• The robot filter on the mount. The nginx map proposed here is the approach hls.refusal.ts rejected, so the likelier route is dropping matching Icecast listeners in audience.watch.ts.
