integrate with HA, similar? — the seam either way is a station API something outside this tree can drive, which the contracts already generate a typed client for. comparable-stations notes the adjacent version of it (an MCP surface, split into unauthenticated reads and admin actions) and that choosing which verbs an outside agent may reach is service-actors's question wearing a different hat

The seam this names is now built: @deadair/sdk is on npm (#106) and personal API keys can be scoped to view or manage (#116). No Home Assistant integration exists yet; the community site has a home-assistant category waiting for one.

Closing: the integration this asked for is built, in both directions, and documented in the site tutorial "Home Assistant" (#658).

• Out: the events module (Events: send what happens on air to your own servers #625) posts signed events to an HA webhook trigger: a track, talk, production or programme starting, the station going on or off air, and a request arriving.
• In: HA's rest_command, with a scoped API key, calls /api/playout/skip, /api/playout/stop, /api/playout/start and /api/nowplaying.

What is not built is a native Home Assistant integration (a HACS custom component with media_player and sensor entities). That would be a separate repository, and it is worth a discussion of its own if somebody wants it.
