This example is taken from molecule/default/converge.yml
and is tested on each push, pull request and release.
---
- name: Converge
hosts: all
become: true
gather_facts: true
roles:
- role: robertdebock.lvm
# It's difficult to test this in CI.
# lvm_volume_groups:
# - name: first
# pvs:
# - /dev/loop0
# There is no device mapper in containers.
# lvm_logical_volumes:
# - name: first
# vg: first
# size: 100%FREE
# opts: --type cache-pool
The machine needs to be prepared. In CI this is done using molecule/default/prepare.yml
:
---
- name: Prepare
hosts: all
become: true
gather_facts: false
roles:
- role: robertdebock.bootstrap
# tasks:
# - name: create disk.img
# command: dd if=/dev/zero of=/disk.img bs=1M count=100
# args:
# creates: /disk.img
# - name: create /dev/loop0
# command: mknod /dev/loop0 b 7 8
# args:
# creates: /dev/loop0
# notify:
# - link disk.img to /dev/loop0
# handlers:
# - name: link disk.img to /dev/loop0
# command: losetup /dev/loop0 /disk.img
Also see a full explanation and example on how to use these roles.
The default values for the variables are set in defaults/main.yml
:
---

# Per lvm a size can be set, if it's not set, use this value.
lvm_default_pesize: 32
