Juniper VPN wrappers:

This package contains a set of LD_PRELOAD scripts and a python script that
work together to provide command line, non-root access to a Juniper VPN
server. It wraps the normally tap interface into a socks proxy. Connecting
to a Juniper VPN server is as simple as:

./juniper-vpn-wrap.py -h <host> -u <username>

Once connected, a local proxy.pac file can be used to easily direct web
traffic.

Building:

Building the LD_PRELOAD wrappers should be as simple as 'make install'. The
ncsvc_preload.so will always build as 32 bit to match the ncsvc binary. The
Makefile will try to detect the architecture of the java build (32 or 64)
and build the tncc_preload.so binary appropriately. Both will be installed
into ~/.juniper_networks/

The tap-via-socks socks branch of lwip is required to build:

https://github.com/russdill/lwip/commits/tap-via-socks

32-bit libraries for libevent and libpcap are also required.

juniper-vpn-wrapper.py:

This logs into the VPN host and passes login information from the user. It
downloads tncc.jar, ncLinuxApp.jar, and the certificate as necessary. It
requires the tncc_preload.so and ncsvc_preload.so libraries to function.

tncc LD_PRELOAD wrapper:

The tncc auth wrapper just provides a simpler method of communicating
with the app. Instead of listening on a random localhost port and then
communicating that with a file, input is passed on stdin, and output read
out on stdout.

ncsvc LD_PRELOAD wrapper:

This wraps ncsvc and with the addition of a branch of lwip:

https://github.com/russdill/lwip/commits/tap-via-socks

provides the VPN connection via a SOCKS proxy. This means that
ncsvc no longer requires SUID root, renames /etc/resolv.conf,
messes with routes, etc.

Starting ncsvc:

LD_PRELOAD=./ncsvc_preload.so ./ncsvc -h <host> -c <cookie> -f <certfile> \
		[-l <log level, default 3>] [-p <proxy port, default 1080>]

Where cookie contains a string like:

	DSID=acc62ce6d75ba371380a5e54c01bb1ee

And certfile is a DER formatted certificate from your server.
