Microsoft has deprecated OneGet and has recommend using the community maintained project AnyPackage. I am the author and maintainer of the project and would like to see if you would be interested in creating a package provider. AnyPackage is not a fork of OneGet but rather a complete rewrite simplifying the end user and package provider authoring experience. Here is a demo of AnyPackage during the PowerShell community call.
