First release, for ATAK-CIV 5.6.0.

What it does

  • Search markers, shapes, routes and contacts by name, callsign, remarks, icon or group.
  • Search features in imported KML/KMZ, shapefile, GPX and GeoJSON files by name, description and folder.
  • Paste a coordinate (MGRS, UTM, lat/lon, Google/Apple Maps link) to jump there, with optional pin drop.

Install

  1. Download the APK below and open it on your device (allow installs from your browser or file app if asked).
  2. Open ATAK and load QuickSearch when prompted, or from the Plugins / Package Manager screen.
  3. Find the QuickSearch button with the other tools in ATAK's menu.

Verification

  • SHA-256 of the APK: a9b19c07ed07610c86f4e6a33e566196be118e5eb4dec36a6f1c77a1445f14de
  • QuickSearch-1.0-fortify-scan.pdf: TAK.gov Fortify static analysis, no issues found.
  • QuickSearch-1.0-sbom.cdx.json: CycloneDX software bill of materials from the TAK.gov build. It lists the build toolchain; QuickSearch itself bundles no third-party libraries.
