As you may have noticed, I've been developing a fork of pzprjs at https://github.com/robx/pzprjs over the past half year or so, with a number of changes. That version is live at https://puzz.link/. (At the time, pzprjs seemed abandoned, but happy to see you're back!)
I wonder if you're interested in receiving PRs for some of the changes? Besides the source code, the changelog at https://github.com/robx/pzprjs/blob/master/Changelog.md is probably the best summary of the differences. I'd be happy to create such pull requests, if you're interested in any particular topic.
As a possible start, here's the new puzzle type "double chocona", which was submitted to robx/pzprjs by @x-sheep.
