This repository has the following contents:

run_analysis.R: this script contains the codes of how to download and unzip the data from the given URL; and the coding to read the data sets and merge two data sets into one data set with proper column names. At the final step, it creates a separate tidy data from the merged dataset with required data analysis.

tidy_data.txt: this is the tidy data set with the average of each variable for each activity and each subject, created by the run_analysis.R.

codebook.md: the codebook contains the data taht indicate all the variables and summaries calculated, along with units, and any other relevant information.
