When I try to load a solution which contains a Web-Resource it returns "The solution contains non entity components....", I'm trying to add a Web-Resource which should contain the image of the custom button.

This is due to a recent update that checks that your solution is small and lean - you should only include the 'shell' of entities - with no other components.

Please see the following instructions - https://ribbonworkbench.uservoice.com/knowledgebase/articles/169819-speed-up-publishing-of-solutions

No - you don't need to add the image to the solution - you can search for the image webresource without it being in the solution.

We use an on premise version of Dynamics CRM and I have solution for Dashboard refreshes however this new version of RibbonWorkbench is giving me the same error message as sg-1225. The solution has 2 items in it Application Ribbons Client Extensions and one Web Resource. Any help would be great not sure how to work around this since in our version of Dynamics CRM it does not give me the option to exclude sub-components even though there are none in my solution.
