Hi there

This is where I open source stuff and break things 🤣

  • 🔭  I’m currently working on understanding open source software development, user-centered design, and the Salish Sea ecosystem.
  • 🌱  I’m currently learning about AWS, Azure, Python, and OrbitDB.
  • 💬  Ask me about anything related to oceanography or marine bioacoustics.
  • 📫  How to reach me: via email, Github Discussions here, or
  • 👨‍💻  Read more about my work projects at
  • ⚡  Fun fact: I ❤️ mountaineering and raiding

My Opensource Story

I am on a steep learning curve -- as a project manager, sometimes-creative, and wannabe-developer -- helping guide the amazing Orcasound open source design and development community towards successful conservation of soniferous marine life, starting with endangered orcas (aka Southern Resident killer whales).

  • Thanks to gautamkrishnar for much of this README, and the Latest Blog Posts section. For years I've longed for a way to automagically keep a list my blog posts up to date -- no matter where and what I write.
