Hi. I can't seem to make the "Open in other apps" button to open an HTML file in a browser. Is there an option or a workaround for this?

A the moment, you'll need an app installed that registers for editing the html file mime type.
If you are a vim user, then VimTouch does thi, otherwise you might want to try DroidEdit.
I'm also planning to re-enable the basic editor shipped in SGit in the next release.

I've tried it and DroidEdit gives me an "Error opening file", while with VimTouch I couldn't figure out a command that would work (usual desktop advice like xdg-open didn't get me anywhere). Any ideas?

Sorry, I only mentioned VimTouch as it was one I used and quickly tested as working, but I would not recommend using it unless you are already familiar with using vim.
DroidEdit does work for me, so not sure what the issue is, could you let me know what version of Android you are using, if you are using the latest version of SGit?

I'm using Android 5.0.1. I'm also quite OK with using vimTouch as long as it doesn't require typing a lengthy command every time.

@maks That basic editor can't even delete text when you push backspace!
