I wanted to merge upstream with my fork, but all I got was an auto pull from origin... We should allow pulling from a chosen remote.

Yuck, that's not right at all. So if you have a remote right now, the only way to do it is pull first into a local tracking branch and then merge/rebase from there?

Except that the upstream branches aren't listed correctly...
