➤ Installation

To set up the Signal-Clone app locally, follow these steps:

  1. Clone the repository:

    git clone https://github.com/your-username/signal-clone.git
  2. Navigate to the project directory:

    cd signal-clone
  3. Install the dependencies:

npm install

or

yarn install
  1. Configure Firebase:

    • Create a new Firebase project at the Firebase Console.
    • Enable Firebase Authentication, Realtime Database, Firestore, and Storage for your project.
    • Obtain the necessary Firebase configuration values (API keys, database URLs, etc.).
  2. Set up Firebase configuration:

    • Locate the firebase.js file in the project's source code.
    • Replace the placeholder configuration values with your Firebase project's configuration.
  3. Build the app:

    • For Android:
         react-native run-android
    • For iOS:
      react-native run-ios

    Ensure you have a working development environment for React Native before running the above commands.

  4. Launch the app on your preferred device or emulator.
