Thank you for your PR! Actually, I haven't heard of PlatformIO before. The concept looks very interesting, and I also like the integration into VSCode. I will have a deeper look into PlatformIO, and then I will decide whether I merge your PR, modify it, or just close it. It may take a while, but for now, it looks like a jigsaw piece that I was missing. |
Board is pre-selected as an Adafruit Huzzah. Tested with * Adafruit Feather Huzzah (AF-2821), and; * SparkFun Lightning Detector - AS3935 (SEN-15441).

@shred, thanks for your work. You probably don't need this pull request as you're happy with the Arduino build environment, but as I wanted to record the changes for my own I had the commits available in my fork. You're welcome to review and close without merging.
