I really like 1 — Command center. I think it would work even better if we combined it with elements from 3 — Inventory-first and 6 — KPI strip + tabs. I’d keep 1 as the base layout, especially the visible services card/rail on the right. That’s useful because the server/service status stays visible at all times. For the elements from 3, instead of displaying the recent entity cards and hosting packages directly on the dashboard, I’d organize them the same way as 6 — inside the tabbed surface. So the main area could have tabs like:
Basically, 1 as the overall layout + the inventory content from 3, but structured using the tab approach from 6, while keeping the right-side services/status card permanently visible. I think that would keep the dashboard clean while still making all the inventory, backups, and alerts easily accessible. |

1 — Command center
Host-health banner, unified activity feed, services + backups rail.
2 — Ops-first
Resource charts + alerts dominant, counts demoted to chips.
3 — Inventory-first
Six count cards + four recent-entity tables, slim health strip.
4 — Status rail
Fixed left rail holds all box state; wide work area with counts + activity.
5 — Bands
Single column, three full-width bands: system, inventory, activity.
6 — KPI strip + tabs
One dense KPI strip, then a single tabbed surface (Activity / Services / Backups / Alerts).
