Problem

While we do have the names of every sign language in different languages - https://github.com/sign/i18n/tree/main/custom/signedLanguages - which was automatically creates using Google Translate,
we also added short language names https://github.com/sign/i18n/tree/main/custom/signedLanguagesShort

These short names are harder to translate. "American" can have multiple valid translations in Hebrew for example, only one of them is "American" as in "American Sign Language"

Description

For short names, a manual pass should be used to remove the "Sign Language" suffix/prefix in every language

Alternatives

Using ChatGPT we could automate this
