What is MultiMarkdown SPM?

MultiMarkdown SPM is a fork of MultiMarkdown 6, compatible with Swift Package Manager (SPM).

For more details about MultiMarkdown or for using MultiMarkdown in your app or service that isn't using SPM, visit the main repo - https://github.com/fletcher/MultiMarkdown-6/.

To use MultiMarkdown in your project you need to follow these three simple steps:

1. Make sure your Swift version is 4.2 or above.
2. Add libMultiMarkdown to your Package.swift file:

   import PackageDescription
   
   let package = Package(
   ...
   	dependencies: [
   		...
   		.package(url: "https://github.com/slsrepo/multimarkdown-spm.git", from: "6.6.0")
   	...
   	],
   	targets: [
   		...
   		.target(..., dependencies: [..., "libMultiMarkdown", ...]),
   	...
   	]
   )

OR

2. If you are using Xcode 11 (or newer), add the package to your project by clicking on File > Swift Packages > Add Package Dependency... in the menu bar.

3. Build your app/project (Command-B in Xcode or swift build), run (Command-R in Xcode or swift run TargetName) and enjoy :)

Pro tip: If you add the libMultiMarkdown library as a dependency, you get the MultiMarkdown C functions, as they are. For Swift types and methods, use the MultiMarkdownSPM library as a dependency instead :)
