Please have in mind that you must install the dependencies before building svxlink or the build will fail. They are listed in the svxlink slackbuilds.org page and can also be found at that site.
The packages created by this method can be easily converted for other distros originated in Slackware, for example Porteus or Slax, by means of the utilities txz2xzm and other included in these distros.
You also need to build the svxlink-sounds package if you want to run SvxLink Server.
