INSTALL:

This assumes you have all the required python modules and the xfce4 Generic Monitor Plugin (xfce4-genmon-plugin) are already installed.

1. Copy iigenmon.py to, for example, /usr/local/bin:

sudo cp iigenmon.py /usr/local/bin

2. Make it executable:

sudo chmod +x /usr/local/bin/iigenmon.py

3. Save the password:

/usr/local/bin/iigenmon.py -p <iinet username> <iinet password>

This saves the password to gnome keyring. You will need to repeat this whenever your change your iinet toolbox password.

4. Add a Generic Monitor to an xfce4 panel, then right click + properties on it:

Command: /usr/local/bin/iigenmon.py <iinet username>
Label: (I leave this empty, but you can put whatever you want)
Period: 1800 (1800 seconds is 30 mins. Consider this the minimum value. There is no point is using a lesser value)
