This PR changes the project's license from BSD 4-Clause to MIT.
The 3rd clause of the BSD 4-Clause license specifies that all advertising materials mentioning features or use of the software must display an acknowledgment of the licensed project. Some companies' policies prohibit the use of BSD 4-Clause licensed projects because of this clause. This PR aims to change the project's license to a more open one. MIT is chosen for its simplicity and flexibility.
