[[ settings ]] refactor to support multiple identities

Currently the settings package support saving a default identity that is used for all connections. To better implement support for multiple server platforms and connections the settings package need to be refactored to support saving multiple identities.

These identities should also contain which platform should be used when connecting to that server.
