SolStretch v1.1.1 – PCA-based decorrelation stretch for RGB images

SolStretch is a Shiny web application designed to apply decorrelation stretch to RGB raster images (TIFF or JPEG), enhancing visual contrast and improving feature visibility using a PCA-based transformation.

This tool is especially useful for:

• Enhancing faint rock art and cave paintings
• Highlighting subtle color variations in sedimentary profiles and stratigraphy images

This version (v1.1.1) includes:

• Improved layout and design
• Adjustable percentile sliders for custom contrast enhancement
• Brightness and contrast correction
• Reset button for interactive exploration
• Output options: TIFF or JPEG
• Embedded preview and download
• Icons and branding support

Originally developed to assist in the visual enhancement of archaeological and parietal art images.
