Hey y'all 🤘 I'm Daniel.

Daniel Yuschick speaking about the keys to an accessibility mindset from behind a podium and in front of a projection screen

I'm a frontend developer, author and speaker originally from the US, but living in Helsinki, Finland. I'm a contributor to sites such as Smashing Magazine, LogRocket and formerly CSS Tricks. I spend a lot of time speaking at companies, events and conferences about web accessibility (a11y) and advocating for creating products for everybody. When I last worked in the US, I taught web development to career changers. That passion for mentoring continues today as I volunteer with the Helsinki chapter of CodeBar.

In addition to this, I spend time working on my open source projects. I'm particularly interested in creating plugins for Stylelint to help make the adoption of modern CSS best practices easier. Additionally, my passion project, Horologist is one that I want to continue adding to and documenting.

Any form of sponsorship would be incredible. It will make me feel like my time and energy is appreciated. A sponsorship will be that extra bit of motivation to continue mentoring and advocating for others, creating open source tools and resources and sharing my experiences through writing and speaking.

@yuschick

It would feel so inspiring to have a few sponsors 🤘
