- Added vim so I could edit files
- nc to test connectivity
- moved start-kafka into /usr/local/bin
- updated kafka/scala
- Use openjdk since I was getting a error with tail in openjdk, this was patched in the latest version of debian
…s, move start-kafka.sh into /usr/local/bin, fix issue in start-kafka.sh where if ADVERTISED_PORT wasn't set the echo would not add a new line to server.config rendering Kafka to not be able to start
