srgk26/README.md

Hi there! 👋 Thank you for visiting my page.

A short summary of me:

  • I am currently pursuing postgraduate studies in computational biology at the University of Cambridge, looking to improve my skills in applied mathematics and statistics relevant to computational biology research.

  • I am interested across a variety of disciplines, including reproducible software development (e.g. docker containerisation), linux system administration, artificial intelligence, data analysis and visualisation, human genetics/genomics and molecular biology, and personalised medicine.

  • I primarily use the R statistical language for its plethora of bioinformatics and statistical packages and the Julia programming language for programming and serious number cruncing.

  • I am open to open-source collaborations, particularly using the Julia programming language.

  • I do like writing blogs (though I don't always publish them). Follow me on S R Gokul Krishnan's DEV Profile

P.S. Fun fact: my first name Gokul is very similar to the lead anime character 'Goku' in Dragonball Z.

Feel free to Connect!
