Smaller package, changed output and .git filtering

This release changes the package tar.gz to have the highest compression possible from the previous faster compression due to time and CPU is less relevant in this case compared to network bandwidth.

The documentation only recommended that one deletes the root .git directory but in some cases, the "composer:ed" dependencies could still have a .git folder and add that to deployed source code. This release ensures that any .git directory is excluded from the final package.

And lastly, some minor changes to the output has been added and an undocumented -verbose flag was added in the case that a debug/performance output is needed.
