Copy csv_import_issues plugin to {RAILS_APP}/plugins on your redmine path

Run bundle install –without development test RAILS_ENV=production

rake redmine:plugins NAME= csv_import_issues RAILS_ENV=production

rm -r plugins/csv_import_issues

Redmine 2.3.0.stable and above

Go to Administration > Roles and Permissions. Provide permission to a group to create issues via CSV by selecting checkbox “Create issues via CSV import”.

To create issues, create a CSV .

Go to issues for a project. Click on “import issues” link to upload CSV.

Once CSV is uploaded properly, a view will be populated for field mapping.

After mapping, submit form. It will create issues listed in CSV.

rake db:drop RAILS_ENV=test

rake db:migrate RAILS_ENV=test

rake redmine:plugins:test:functionals PLUGIN = csv_import_issues RAILS_ENV=test
