For later, obviously :) But it would be neat if Regal integrated with VS Code, either via the existing plugins, or new ones.

The Wasm POC @srenatus initiated would be a good place to start.

Current plan here for this to land in https://github.com/open-policy-agent/vscode-opa as an optional extra.

It could look something like this: ✨

Latest version of Regal at the time of writing this is v0.18.0 which ships with support for the language server protocol, and the diagnostics feature more specifically. Client support has been added to the VS Code OPA plug-in, and users may now choose to either install Regal if missing, or use their existing Regal binary, for linting. Quite a milestone for the project! 🎉

Thanks @charlieegan3 for your work on this 👏

While we'll want to do more in this space, I'm closing this as done, as we now in fact have a VS Code integration 😃
