Create a multi-root workspace with "Add folder to workspace". The workspace will now have two folders in its root, unrelated to each other (as example, C:\FolderA and C:\FolderB).
Save a note with the same name in both folders (say a.md). Type different texts inside them just to tell them apart.
Type [[: autocomplete will show both notes, but the actual linking will use the short location.
When clicking on the link, only one of the note (I assume "the one that comes first after paths sorting", as explained in this issue) will actually open.
The description of the memo.links.format mentions "unique across the workspace", but from the behaviour I described, it feels like it is only checks "within the same folder".
The text was updated successfully, but these errors were encountered:
Hi, I think current behavior that it will use the first inferred workspace amongst workspaces, I haven't tested it with multiple workspaces, also there was no solid use-case to support it, f.ex my knowledge base resides in a single workspace.
Steps to reproduce.
