following up on comments/problems from #44.

separate tabs and not-all-units-visible were the least popular parts of this update.

  • try a derivative-clicker style layout - all units on one screen with dropdowns to buy things; unit selection de-emphasized. alternate layout, not replacement. see if people like it more.

I'm pretty happy with the UI after the most recent changes. Load time's still a very minor issue, but let's handle that in #21 and #78.
