Rather than typing all the function summaries out as formatted text, what would you think about transcribing them in some machine-readable format that a script can turn into Markdown (or, eventually, RST)? |

I'm not finished writing up Appendix 2 but it seems to be the largest section of the entire book and so it seemed unfair to wait until the very end before dropping the entire thing on you. In this way you can see things, make comments, changes, etc. while it's being worked on. My eventual plan is to squash all of the commits into one once it's done.
