This is a pre-built deb and rpm of the wpunix files.

  • This release adds mouse support! See the FAQ if you want to disable it.
  • There is an experimental utility that makes editing complex macros easier, available in /opt/wp80/shbin10/mactool. See mactool for documentation.
  • The usual printer/font fixes and updates.
  • Thanks to WP8 improved keyboard processing, more Alt- keybindings are now available.
  • Added some useful optional macros for "smart quotes", see the FAQ.

Please report any issues, WP8 has not received as much testing as WP7. This is because it was thought to be lost until recently! 😃

Note: You may need to run dpkg --add-architecture i386 before installing this.
