Gemfile
:

- In

replace theminima
theme withtale

- Install the theme's gems and dependencies:
$ bundle

Rename
index.md
toindex.html
. Without this, thejekyll-paginate
gem will not work. -
Add these 2 lines in to
_config.yml
:
permalink: /:year-:month-:day/:title
paginate: 5

Delete the unnecessary files/folders:

Delete the
baseurl
line in_config.yml
:
baseurl: "/tale" # delete this line
Once you've installed the theme, you're ready to work on your Jekyll site. To start off, I would recommend updating _config.yml
with your site's details.
To build and serve your site, run:
$ bundle exec jekyll serve
And you're all set! Head over to http://127.0.0.1:4000/ to see your site in action.
