ICT Device Question

Hi,

While I can see a POE switch, and also a standard Ethernet switch in the list (POEETS and ETS) - what would be the recommended asset names for the below ICT devices?:

• Fibre switch
• Fibre and ethernet switch
• IP dongle for an intelligent PDU (e.g. https://www.austin-hughes.com/product/ipd-03-s/)

• Fibre and ethernet switch – MTSW (multi switch)
• IP dongle for an intelligent PDU (e.g. https://www.austin-hughes.com/product/ipd-03-s/) – IPDU (intelligent/IP PDU)

I think we can keep the ETS abbreviation for any other type of switch including fibre and ethernet, and add FBS for fibre only switches and IPDUD for the IP PDU Dongle. An alternative is also PDUIPD which I think is even more pertinent. The D at the end is to say it is a dongle rather than a PDU, as it is not a PDU.
Thoughts?
