Proposed Public Health elements/abbreviations #80
Comments
I would suggest the attenuation tank should start with 'RW', maybe RWST (rainwater storage tank) or RWT (rainwater tank) or RWAT (rainwater attenuation tank). |
Agree no need for attenuation.
Would question the use or specifity of recycled water....e.g. it should be
used consistently for all recycled water types (e.g. rainwater, grey water)
or not used at all. Thoughts?

For attenuation pump, I see the abbreviation RWP is reserved for recycled
water pump, so perhaps we could use RWBP (rainwater booster pump) - as the
pump is used as a booster - I think the attenuation part is not needed for
the abbreviation

It might make sense to provide the context (rainwater or greywater) rather than an umbrella term (recycled water); the reason being that different water types can be used for different applications - and typically these systems are abbreviated differently in engineering drawings and schedules, so I think it might be easier to not use recycled water at all - interested to hear other views. |
Just my 2 cents but I think it is better with more granularity. Just for clarity I think its worth providing names for all as otherwise it introduces ambiguity. |
For UV, refer to: #103 |
Hi All, is there an update with the Sprinkler Pump naming?? |
Just my thoughts: I think we need to detail sprinkler pump. Happy with SPP as an abbreviation. |
Note from meeting 25th May: SPP to be added to abbreviations register |
Note from meeting 25th May: RNWP can be used for rainwater pump to avoid compatibility issues with changing rwp abbreviation |
We have addressed this in #142 however we have not included |
Sprinkler Pump - SPP
Wet Riser Tank - WRT
Wet Riser Pump - WRP
Rainwater Attenuation Tank - ATT
Rainwater Attenuation Pump - ATP
UV Water treatment - UVWT
