As `request.el` is lexical-binding true, the default-value of `buffer-file-coding-system` remained unchanged, and we are plunged to `select-safe-coding-system-interactively`. Explicitly `setf` the generalized variable `(default-value 'buffer-file-coding-system)`. Bug reported in kidd/org-cal.el#41.
