⭐ my SOHO Comets' discoveries 🌟 - NASA Sungrazer program 🚀
This repository contains a python code which calculates level populations and fluorescence efficiencies (g-factors) for atoms (or molecules) in the presence of a radiation field (e.g. the solar spectrum).
The goal of this thesis is to calculate the required filter bandwidths of the Comet Camera (CoCa) on the Comet Interceptor mission. Reflectance of the Comet as well as the exposure time need to be taken into account.

The MATLAB model here presented performs trajectory propagations based on the Constant Density Polyhedron algorithm. With this model, it is possible to compute trajectories in the proximity of astronomical bodies such as asteroids or comets. The algorithm also allows to compute ballistic trajectories.
