Please note: The numbers here do not include all Twitter Blue subscribers. Twitter does not provide a way to list subscribers, and the methods used to compile this list do not find all accounts (in particular protected accounts, non-Anglophone accounts, and accounts with a small number of followers are less likely to appear here). The most recent internal leaks suggest that this list includes around 85-90% of all Twitter Blue subscribers.

Update for the past week:

  • 60,277 newly identified accounts with Twitter Blue verification
  • 16,773 accounts lost Blue verification (either by unsubscription or Twitter action)
  • 11,973 accounts returning (had been previously observed as subscribed, then weren't, and now are again)
  • 189 Blue accounts suspended
  • 577 Blue accounts self-deactivated

Net increase of 53,682 current Blue accounts for a total of 498,117.

Some other information about current subscribers

Follower counts

Note that the Blue accounts that our methods miss will generally be newer and less prominent accounts, which means that these numbers are likely to be low—for example the number of Twitter Blue subscribers with fewer than 1,000 followers is probably much higher than 50%.

  • Blue subscribers with 0 followers: 2,585
  • Blue subscribers with fewer than 100 followers: 88,085 (17.7%)
  • Blue subscribers with fewer than 1,000 followers: 244,562 (49.1%)

Other verification

  • Blue subscribers with "Business" verification: 2,115 (8.1%)
  • Blue subscribers with "Government" verification: 576 (8.4%)
  • Blue subscribers with other legacy verification: 12,238 (3.2%)

Overall only about 3.6% of legacy verified accounts are currently signed up for Twitter Blue.
