The online documentation for has outdated formatting instructions for the most recent blast++. Also, if you don't set aside enough memory for your site you get an error message when loading blast results that simply says the page can't be loaded, there is no meaningful message in the Drupal logs. I came across this looking in the server logs. We recommend 2GB of RAM for Tripal but if the user skipped that they will get this message. It might be good to just add a blurb about making sure you have enough memory configured for the site in the docs.

Sorry for the delayed response! I've been away on leave and unable to answer until now.

Thanks for pointing this out @spficklin! I will look into this. If you have the link to the updated Blast++ documentation handy that would be really helpful!

@spficklin I've confirmed the documentation here (https://tripal-blast-ui.readthedocs.io/en/latest/user_guide/install.html) is up to date. It links to the official NCBI installation documentation which was last updated in Aug 2020 and points to the LATEST tagged downloads (currently 2.12.0).

I did notice that the quickstart (readme and readthedocs install page) mentioned the Ubuntu package which is out of date so I'm in the process of replacing that with the link to the official NCBI docs.

I also noticed the (Tested with 2.2.26+) note and am running some recent tests to ensure full compatibility with 2.12.0.

Was that what you were referring to or is there something else I missed?
