Layout overview

Layer 0 (Default):

This is the main layer, this contain most usage key (QWERTY, Enter, space, Backspace,Tab Shift...) and some key that in my opinion it should be on the default layout.

image

  • image key, when we coding we use the dot frequenly to access then inner function inside class and also when we browsing website it's very necessary to enter link in web browser.
  • image for some specific Windows commands such as
    • Search on Start Menu (Windows + Search keyword)
    • Sniping tool (Windows + Shift + S)
    • Open Command Prompt (Windows + R)
    • Open file explorer ( Windows + E)
  • image key (aka FN key) for momentary turning on layer 1
  • image key for switching between layer

Layer 1:

This is layer contain the number keys and some specific keys (<,>,-,= etc...), and some needed function keys for shortcut in Visual Studio IDE feature (Rename File (F2), Debuging (F9,F10,F11), Go to definition (F12). I designed this layer for easy to momentary switching from layer 0 by pressing image image

Layer 2:

This layer is optional, in my case I setup this layer contain both number keys and some aphalbet keys so I can play some MOBA and FPS game on this keyboard image
