The globe auto-rotation is tricky when playing through the time series, especially in comparison mode, as sometimes the globes rotate at different speeds and one sort of jumps to catch up its rotation: this happened when viewing different resolution datasets.
Perhaps a work-around could be to find a way to indicate or switch off the globe auto-rotate?
