First - thank you. Your contribution to open source with this fine package has enabled many of our organizations to succeed. I really appreciate it. I noticed your last checkin and am curious. Is your intention to step away from this project and no longer support it. I totally understand and get it. Can you recommend any alternatives.

Hi, thanks for your words. In the last 5 years the project only got bug and security fixes, and personally i am no more involved in web-related stuff, so i definitely stepped out from the project years ago :) But i will still try to do my best (with @xrmx) to keep the project alive (at least until some new maintainer will jump in). Probably the only two viable alternatives are still mod_wsgi and gunicorn. I do not know if in the mean time something else popped out, and if understand correctly there is a new standard around (ASGI) that should (finally, i hope) get rid of the venerable/old WSGI standard.

Too bad gunicorn doesn't seem to support cgi
