Spend time learning about the technologies and asking questions while iteratively developing the core using a simple sequence (nodes/seq_mock_nodes.ex). Studies have shown that play and experimentation can be an important learning tool, so let's play around with things a bit to start out.

We will work to cover all possible edge cases and enhancements to the design around this single use case before moving on to other control nodes (selector/parallel). This will ensure that technical debt is minimized and create a solid foundation for the other work to follow.
