cn-agent 1.4.0 focuses on tightening the template and making the CLI safer to use.

  • CLI

    • Validates agent names before creating hubs, avoiding bad repo and path names.
    • Handles git pull --ff-only failures with clear warnings and next steps instead of aborting.
    • Adds a small test suite and CI so basic flags (--help, --version) are always checked.
  • Docs & skills

    • Whitepaper, glossary, DOJO, and skills now agree on layout, terminology, and the two-repo model.
    • Clarifies that memory/, state/practice/, and state/reflections/ are cn-agent conventions, not protocol requirements.
    • Documents daily-routine’s cron expectations with examples for OpenClaw, crontab, and systemd.
    • Adds CN-MANIFESTO.md and CN-EXECUTABLE-SKILLS.md (CTB) to round out the story.
  • Metadata & hygiene

    • package.json now has proper description, keywords, repository, bugs, and homepage fields.
    • DOJO kata numbering is explicit and belt-scoped (1.x White, 2.x Yellow, etc.).

For deeper detail:

  • CHANGELOG.md tracks version history and coherence scores.
  • docs/CN-WHITEPAPER.md is the protocol spec.
  • docs/CN-MANIFESTO.md and docs/CN-EXECUTABLE-SKILLS.md describe why and what’s next.
