System Safety Database

A tool for collecting, visualising, and presenting qualitative hazards data in the Victorian rail industry. A continuation of an academic project sponsored by LXRA and facilitated by MITI, by Charling Li, Alan Ly, Nitya Mehra and Juan David Galvez Ortega. No content in this repository is claimed under commercial or private licenses.

This project is a web application written in Java EE served by JavaServer Faces with a PrimeFaces frontend that links to a MySQL database hosted on Microsoft Azure. Testing is done on a local WildFly server in a CentOS VM.

Getting Started

These instructions will get you a copy of the project up and running on your local machine. Currently, these instructions only support Ubuntu/Debian systems.
