AR Ed is an Augmented Reality application, that brings e-learning content available online onto plain old textbooks, to make learning more interesting and easier.
The application recognizes text and images in the textbook, and with the help of a pseudo NLP processor (in case of text) understands context, to get the most relevant content from various available sources online like Khan academy & other e-learning platforms, WikiMedia sources, Social Media, Wolfram Alpha, Search engines, Dictionaries, etc.
AR Ed was built overnight for the TechCruch Bangalore Hackathon, Nov 2013
