I found regression tests failing with the latest version of vcddiff. The problem is due to it putting out a welcome message:

Verilator regression requires no output at all to recognize success.
Not sure quite how to fix this in @driver.pl@. We can't use return codes, because vcddiff always returns 0. Possibly an option to slurp up the above message if it appears, but I'd rather leave that to someone with greater PERL confidence than me.
For now, I've hacked vcddiff to not put out the welcome message. Which seems to work.
