If trace_sip is not set then SIP messages are logged into the JS console. According to the doc its default value is "false" but seems not to be true.

Are you sure? I've just checked that and the behavior is the expected. Perhaps if trace_sip is not set, it takes false value and no SIP message is printed.

My fault, I didn't realize the jssip-demos "tryit" comes with such a parameter explicitly enabled.
