CLTV will be activated as a hard forking change from block 598,725 which should occur around 7th January 2015.

Before upgrading, please backup your wallet. For Windows/Mac and clients you can do this from
File->Backup Wallet, or otherwise copy your wallet.dat file.

After upgrading, Windows and Mac OSX users will be prompted to reindex the blockchain on next restart. Those running viacoind should restart the daemon with the additional -reindex flag. This only needs to be done once, when transitioning from 0.10.5 to 0.10.6.x or above.

If you are upgrading from 0.10.6.x you do not need to reindex.

If you are a pool or service that requires advance notification of upgrades and new versions, please complete this form.
