Reddlite is a Reddit lite version app that allows users to browse content from Reddit with a simplified interface. The app includes various features such as content feed with filters, user and community search, recommended communities, trendings, post and comments view, and dark/light mode.
The app provides a content feed that displays posts from Reddit, which can be filtered based on different criteria, such as community, popularity, date, and more.
Users can search for a specific user or community within the app. The search function includes auto-complete suggestions for easier and faster search results.
Reddlite suggests communities to users based on their search history and the subreddits they follow.
The app shows the top trending posts from different communities on Reddit.
Users can view individual posts, read comments, and interact with them by upvoting, downvoting, or commenting.
The app includes a dark and light mode option to customize the interface based on users' preferences.
Reddlite is a work in progress, and the following features are planned for future releases:
- Open posts from user detail
- Open user detail from post view
- Filter comments from user
Reddlite is built using the following technologies:
- React JS: a popular JavaScript library for building user interfaces.
- Redux Toolkit: a toolset for managing state in React apps.
- Reddit API: an API provided by Reddit that allows developers to access data from Reddit.
